Please read the following carefully:

• Eligibility: Candidates for admission into the Ph.D. programme must have a Master's degree in the concerned or an allied subject with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade. A 5% relaxation in marks or an equivalent relaxation of grade may be allowed for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently Abled categories (with equal to or more than 40% disability), as per UGC guidelines.
• Exemption: Candidates who have cleared NET/SLET or other equivalent national-level tests are exempted from appearing in the written test. However, they must fill up this form by paying the prescribed fee and must appear for the Personal Interview.
• Question Paper Pattern: The question paper will follow a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) format comprising a total of 50 questions. Each correct answer will carry 2 marks. The paper will be divided into two parts:

  Part I: General Section – This section will include questions of a general nature, common to candidates within the same faculty. For example, all Science stream candidates will receive the same general questions, and likewise for Arts and Commerce candidates. This section will account for 50% of the total marks.

  Part II: Discipline-Specific Section – This section will contain subject-specific questions related to the candidate's discipline and will also carry 50% of the total marks.

• Before filling up this form, make sure that you have already deposited the prescribed application fee of ₹1,500/- (₹750/- for SC/ST candidates) through SBI Collect. The payment receipt has to be uploaded, and the Transaction ID and payment date must be mentioned in the application form.
• Along with this Google Form, you must also download, print, and fill up the PDF version of the application form available on the same webpage. The duly filled form must be submitted on the day of the entrance test to the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Bhattadev University.
• At the time of admission/counselling, you are requested to keep photocopies of all original documents such as Date of Birth Certificate, Mark Sheets, Pass Certificates, Caste Certificate, etc., along with one passport-sized photograph.
• Applicants who are employed in either the Government or Private Sector must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of admission.
• Applicants must use their own active email address and ensure that they have access to it throughout the admission process.

• If an applicant wishes to join in more than one discipline, the candidate must apply separately for each discipline by submitting a separate application and paying the prescribed fee for each application.
• A Statement of Purpose (SoP) must be produced at the time of the Personal Interview.
